the Sugar Cones: As the front woman of the raucous trio the Sugar Cones, Malyssa channels her garage rock roots through a genre-bending kaleidoscope of power pop punk, blues, grunge, and soul. Since their debut in February 2018, Sugar Cones have been tearing up the New England music scene with their dynamic live shows and infectious energy. With Alyson Hammond on drums and Jeff Sullivan on bass, the band’s explosive chemistry propels Malyssa’s compositions and their collaborative songs into uncharted territories. Their second album, “Road Soda,” unleashed on 11/13/20, has been met with rave reviews and high-octane performances.

Gamma Rage: Malyssa’s other sonic playground is Gamma Rage, where she reigns supreme as the lead vocalist and lyricist. This band is a high-voltage fusion of heavy rock with thunderous riffs and animated vocals that push the limits. Drawing inspiration from legends like Black Sabbath, Siouxie and the Banshees, Queens of the Stone Age among many others, Gamma Rage’s music is a relentless force. Their highly anticipated debut album drops on 9/13/24, promising to deliver a sonic assault that fans won’t soon forget.
